The incredibly imaginative Guerlain pop-up store on the Champs-Elysees may have closed its doors, but the impression it left on those who appreciate the best in visual merchandising (I am included in this group) will last much longer. It appears to me that Guerlain was trying to reach a younger audience with the store's modern decor. The displays were designed to be more user friendly with low counters, well-lit and easy to see merchandise, and self-serve vanity tables where customers were encouraged to test the makeup at their leisure.
